Top Ten books with handwriting on the cover
Tuesday! This is quickly becoming my favorite day, because it means I can blog about books1. Quick reminder about what this is: The Atsy Reader Girl's Top Ten Tuesday has a prompt every week to share books. This week, it's handwriting on the cover, which was surprisingly hard. Books I have read are marked with an asterisk. Let's go!
The List
- Bunny by Mona Awad*
- Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi*
- The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett*
- I Own You One by Sophie Kinsella*
- To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han
- The Name Drop by Susan Lee
- Middlegame by Seanan McGuire
- The Guest List by Lucy Foley
- If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio*
- A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle*
Lots of great books in that list. I've read 6/10, which is a pretty good ratio. Of these, I think my favorite is Bunny. It was such an absurd, weird story, and I couldn't put it down. I recently acquired the sequel (!), and I'm just looking for the right mood to read it.
Not that I can't on other days, but this is more specific and guided, which means I don't have to think as much. An ironic thought, considering how hard I had to think to come up with this list :)↩
I'm not sure why the picture looks like that, but I think it might be the theme I'm using for the blog. This is the first time I've added an image. I'll have to play around with it later.↩
